Stocks in News: With stock exchanges BSE and NSE set to resume trade after the mid-week, Mahavir Jayanti market holiday, here are a number of businesses that are set to be in focus during Friday’s session on Dalal Street. All eyes will be on Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) shares, as the country’s largest  IT firm has kicked off a new earnings season for India Inc.

TCS Q4 Results & Dividend 

The Tata group IT giant gas reported its financial results for the January-March period, with a 1.3 per cent quarter-on-quarter decline in its net profit to Rs 12,224 crore.

CG Power & Industrial Solutions

The company has received a tax demand order of around Rs 2 crore from authorities. It has appealed against the order.

SRF

The company has commenced operations at an agrochemical plant located in Dahej, Gujarat, with an investment of Rs 239 crore.

Ashika Credit

The company has allotted equity share worth Rs 74 crore to non-promoter entities due to certain warrant conversion.

Samvardhana Motherson

The company’s subsidiary MSSL RSA has received a penalty notice worth Rs 2.2 crore from the South Africa Revenue Services.

Granules India

The company has completed the acquisition of Senn Chemicals in a move set to boost ifs capacities in peptide therapeutics and CDMO services.  

Bajaj Healthcare

The company has named Rohan Parekh as its Chief Financial Officer.

Kajaria Ceramics

The company’s subsidiary Kajaria Plywood has decided not to continue investing in Shri Vinayak Ply Industries.

Concord Enviro

The company has established a subsisted to expand its footprint in wastewater treatment solutions. 

Welspun Corp

The company will offload another 10 per cent stake in NSPL for Rs 51.7 crore.

Hindustan Copper

The company has restarted ore production at its Kolihan copper mining facility in Rajasthan.

BLS International

The company’s subsidiary BLS International FZE will acquire 99.9 per cent in BLS Ventures  SRL. The transaction is expected to complete by April 14.

Torrent Power

The company’s subsidiary Torrent Green Energy has formed a subsidiary, named Torrent Urja Projects.

Shalimar Paints

The company has appointed Kuldip Raina as MD and CEO for three years.

United Spirits

The company has secured relief in a matter related to service tax demand of Rs 194.5 crore. 

Hero MotoCorp

The auto major has established a subsidiary, Hero MotoCorp DO Brazil, in Brazil.
